The hybrid thematic workshop on telepsychiatry from the Digital Roadmap towards an Integrated Healthcare Sector of the Region of Southern Denmark was held at Fakultní nemocnice Olomouc (UHO) in the Czech Republic from 20th to 21st of June. 18 people were attending in person, 10 online.
After the opening by Zdislav Doleček (UHO), the first day started with an introduction on telepsychiatry from the perspective of experts in Southern Denmark: Kuno Kudajewski (WP8 leader and project manager, Health Innovation Centre of Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation) and Malene Lagoni (consultant, Centre of Digital Psychiatry, Region of Southern Denmark).
Next Adopters from Spain-Castilla y Leon (SACYL), Czech republic (UHO), Italy (ARS Lombardy) and Spain-Santander (IDIVAL, Instituto de Investigación Valdecilla) presented the current status of implementation, first results and issues to improve in the second phase of the implementation .
- In a common work session, Next Adopters reflected and discussed experiences on bottlenecks, barriers, facilitators, challenges and learnings. The first day closed with a social event.
- The second day presented a catch-up of the first day workshop and focused on the sustainability session where all Next Adopters presented undertaken and/or planned activities relevant to sustainability. The session included the influence of the identified contextual factors from day 1 on sustainability and the participants discussed which actions should be taken to build capacity for sustainability.
- After closing remarks, the workshop ended with a visit to a local setting!
