Also in Germany public health promotion and prevention of disease for risk groups based on efficient data analysis and targeted digitally enabled actions is one of the goals of public health services. In Bavaria it was recognised, that the European diversity offers unique chances for mutual learning. In this framework, JADECARE has been presented as a source of experiences and tools for a successful digital transformation also to national or regional public health services:

The 9th Bavarian Congress for Public Health Services was set to present “One Health – Learnings from the pandemic”.  This years’ One Health approach included topics from different areas all leading to and being influential to achieve a comprehensive One Health of the population. The Bavarian Health and Food Safety Authority combined sessions on actions to promote and prevent SARS-CoV-2 spreading in schools, infectiology and infection epidemiology, strategies of vaccination and testing and follow-up, climate change and bio-aerosols, childrens health in the context of the pandemic, and specific lessons learnt in the pandemic for health services improvement and research.

In Germany, not only the pandemic underlined that public health promotion and prevention of disease for risk groups and the general population, which is based on efficient data analysis, as well as targeted, digitally enabled actions and tools is among the most important goals of public health services. In Bavaria it was recognised, that the European diversity offers unique chances for mutual learning also in this respect. The EU Joint Action “JADECARE” enables the transfer and adoption of best practice models for integrated digitally enabled person-centred care to health care communities in different European countries and at the same time supports capacity building of ministries of health to achieve and perform sustainable digital health systems transformation towards integrated person-centred care.

Thus JADECARE provides a source of comprehensive experience and tools for a successful digital transformation also to national or regional public health services.
