The first of a series of 10 thematic workshops was hosted by the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS) in close collaboration with the original best practice model OptiMedis AG. 20 online attendees from different EU member states participated in the event and presented their implementation status regarding stakeholder engagement and patient involvement and empowerment. The workshop served also as a preparation for the upcoming thematic workshop in Strasbourg (4th & 5th of July 2022).
Next Adopter teams from Slovenia, France, Denmark, Belgium (presented by OptiMedis), and Estonia presented their country’s contexts and the current status of their implementation progress.
Experiences, challenges, solutions, and acquired learnings were presented and elaborated in a mural working session. In the mural session main discussion topics for the upcoming Strasbourg thematic workshop were identified.
The successful day closed with a wrap-up and conclusions by the oGP leaders on the different successful ways that lead to integrated care!!
