Strasbourg Thematic Workshop on Set up Use of Routine Health Care Data to Assess Efficiency of Chronic Care Pathways

The last thematic workshop in Strasbourg from the 04th to the 05th of July 2022 was very productive and fruitful! The hybrid event was hosted by the Eurometropole of Strasbourg (EUSTRAS) in close cooperation with OptiMedis Nederland. The overall question of the workshop was ‘’How to set up the use of routine health care data to assess the efficiency of chronic care pathways?’’.It was a continuation of the Slovenia workshop providing a platform for an in-depth discussion on current health sector reform measures, typical innovations, and the role of the JADECARE innovations in the various Next Adopter countries!
The first day included a discussion on Next Adopter experiences and highlighted particular facts about the specificity of healthcare systems and their digitalization status, which may be interesting for Next Adopters from France, Slovenia, Belgium, Denmark, and Estonia. The day closed with a site visit to the “Gesundes Kinzigtal” Hausach Germany.
On the second day, results from the Slovenia workshop were discussed in more depth. The group talked about experiences with challenges, possible solutions, and resources. It aimed to improve the management in the further implementation phase. Moreover, a collective discussion on solutions and key sustainability elements ‘’From project implementation to system transformation’’ was carried out in a MURAL session.
